Eleven Songs in Two Languages
I write software for a living and I write songs in between. The two do not talk to each other much, but they share a habit: both are finished by shipping, not by thinking about shipping.
My discography is short enough to list in one breath. Eleven original singles, in Malayalam and Hindi, released between 2024 and 2025. The first was Hridayame in 2024, a Malayalam indie pop track and my debut under my own name. I composed it, wrote the lyrics and sang it. The Yeti the Beast Anthem followed the same year, an electronic and cinematic piece.
The Malayalam side
Four of the eleven are in Malayalam. Hridayame is indie pop. Prakrithiyude Gaanam, from 2025, is indie folk and acoustic. Aaradhanayude Raagam is devotional with a classical base. Murali, also 2025, is devotional classical fusion. The site tags the folk and devotional tracks as the quieter end of the catalogue, and that is where the Malayalam work sits most clearly.
The Hindi side
Six are in Hindi, in two groups. Aanchal, Chashma (The Reading Glasses) and Deewane Hum are tagged indie pop. Chandni Ki Parchhai Mein, Dastoor-E-Pyaar and Saya-E-Dil are tagged ghazal, with Urdu and classical in their descriptions. The ghazal tracks are the ones I would point someone to first if they asked what the Hindi side is about.
What I notice looking at the list
Across 2024 and 2025 the list holds an anthem, folk, devotional, indie pop and ghazal side by side. I would rather keep moving across them than pick one early. The rule I try to apply is the same one I use for code: ship a small finished thing, then look at what it taught you.
The songs are on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and SoundCloud. Lyrics pages are marked coming soon on my site, and I will not pretend they are further along than that.
