the city is now mapping its own fever: fortyguard’s ai heat system cut urban temperatures by up to 5 degrees in pilot areas, a foundation model maps indianapolis heat at 10 to 30 meters with sub 2 degree error, and shenzhen downscales temperature to hourly 1 kilometer grids at 0.956 r squared. the street now knows which blocks stay hot at night.
