Context
Sixth Tone reported on Apr 3, 2024 that Alibaba Cloud inducted its coding assistant Tongyi Lingma as its first AI employee with the employee ID AI001. It is expected to write at least 20 percent of the company's code in the future.
Chinese outlets report the same on Apr 2 to 3, 2024.
The AI001 employee number and the 20 percent target match the sources, but every source found is from April 2024, not an Oct 10, 2026 disclosure. A new Oct 2026 disclosure was not seen in the excerpts read, so unsupported here, not refuted.
'the org chart now has a model id' is the author's opinion.
