Context
Eswin Computing listed on the Hong Kong main board on October 9 under code 01256, the first RISC-V full-stack chip stock in Hong Kong. TechNode says it priced at HK$1.55 and opened at HK$1.54.
BigGo reports it closed at HK$1.55, flat against the offer price, after opening below it, with a market value of about HK$33 billion.
The October 9 listing, the 1.55 offer price and the weak open match TechNode and BigGo. BigGo says the close was flat at the offer price, so 'closed below' is not supported by that report. Other close figures were not seen.
The 1.2 percent share of the domestic control-chip market was not seen in the pages read, so it is unsupported here, not refuted.
'IPOs are not funding rounds' is the author's opinion.
