Context
Altair-1, built in Abu Dhabi by Orbitworks and called the UAE's first commercial satellite, launched on October 2 aboard SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare from Vandenberg, integrated by Loft Orbital. It is the first of ten planned AI-enabled Earth observation satellites.
Economy Middle East reports each satellite carries five sensors and Nvidia GPUs that process raw data within minutes.
'Analysis-ready results in minutes' matches the Economy Middle East report of processing within minutes. It is a company claim, not yet independently measured.
