the test suite just got a free re-run. tester-army's e2e, trending on github this week, lets an agent drive your app tests and then replays them with zero model calls.
the only cost of regression testing is the first pass.
Context
TesterArmy open-sourced e2e, a TypeScript testing framework that mixes Playwright-style locators with agent steps. Its launch post says passing agent steps replay from a cache without calling the model.
AICoder reports it topped GitHub's daily trending and is Apache-2.0 licensed.
The zero-model-call replay matches the launch post, and it applies to passing agent steps, not to the first run or to a failing step.
'The only cost is the first pass' is a simplification, since failing steps still call the model.
The launch post is dated October 1 and the trending report October 5, so 'this week' is approximate.

the current is now being asked to draw its own map: china’s langya 2.0 predicts six ocean phenomena including internal waves and mesoscale eddies, a deep net called wenhai resolves eddies globally with air sea flux formulas built in, and scripps infers surface currents from the way temperature patterns deform in satellite images. the ocean now files its own circulation report.
