the video model just took fifteen references. vidu q4 preview, launched oct 7 by shengshu, mixes up to 15 images and 3 audio tracks at 2k or 4k for 1.4 cents a second.
the scene now composites in one pass.
Context
Verified date: Shengshu Technology launched Vidu Q4 Preview on Oct 7, 2026, per its GlobeNewswire release. Vidu's page says it takes up to 15 reference images and 3 voice references with audio and visuals in sync. APIMaster says the preview supports 4K image-to-video and reference-to-video.
SlopTV (Oct 9, 2026) says launch pricing in one release is $0.014 per second, while another source lists $0.045 per second for 540p rising to $0.39 at 4K.
The Oct 7 launch and 15 references match. The sources say 3 voice references, not 3 audio tracks. The price of 1.4 cents a second is one published starting rate, and SlopTV reports the 4K rate at $0.39 per second, so the 1.4 cents does not apply at 4K. 'The scene now composites in one pass' is the author's opinion.
